I have always liked Phelps and thought that he was a great symbol of dedication, determination, and achievement, but now he is more of a symbol of foolishness, lack of control, bad decision making, and misrepresentation. I was angry to have discovered this knowing that many looked up to him, not to mention that he represents our nation. But in reality I'm not surprised. Almost all celebrities and famous role models seem to have misconduct in their lives. This just goes to show that famous athletes and celebrities should never be role models! There should be no special treatment here!
