Here's an interesting website I ran onto today called Project Vote Smart

They seem to be the real deal when it comes to finding out facts about candidates and getting through all the partisan bs.

Today I read an article about how McCain seems to be getting a upsurge of support from white women. This may be true. However it sparked my curiosity and through the Project Vote Smart website, I found information on Opensecrets.org about the campaign contributions to each candidate (McCain and Obama), based on gender. Here is that information:

John McCain

Barack Obama

The disparity between contributions from male or female contributors is extremely large for McCain, while for Obama it is much closer. Interesting info, interpret it how you will.
