3rd and Final Round

I decided yesterday before the debate that I would give McCain one last chance to convince me to vote for him. I already have decided not to vote for Obama.

After the debate was over I was not impressed not satisfied with McCain's performance or policies proposals.

I will not be voting for McCain. I am looking for another person that I think would better help this country in its time of need.

We are in desperation and in these times we should pull back for foreign engagements and focus on domestic priorities.

We need someone who knows how to spend less then what the government brings in. Government must get smaller! We need to get back to constitutional principles!

Two candidates I am looking at are Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr.

I hope that a third party receives more votes than Ross Perot did to send Washington a message, a message that change is coming and that they will not be apart of it in the future if they don't change their ways.

Thank for your thoughts Nate. Where can I find out more about Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr? I've never heard of these guys, but then I've only been focusing on Obama and McCain. I'm not voting for Obama, but my vote for McCain would be just because I didn't want to vote for Obama. A wasted vote. I don't want to do that either.

For me, if I can't decide for anyone else that is on the ballot I will write in Mitt Romney.

Actually, after thinking on this some more....if I don't want Obama to win this election, and I don't, voting for McCain is the best way to combat that. A third party will not win this election, so why vote for a third party at this point? Techcnically, that would be wasting a vote. Do you agree Nate, or not?

Yes and no. In your State it could be a waste but as for Idaho McCain will win all of Idaho's electoral votes whether I vote for him, Obama, a third party or don't vote at all. So, since McCain is going to win Idaho I would rather give my vote to someone I agree with.

So, I get to feel better about my vote knowing that McCain will still win Idaho's Electoral votes therefore taking votes from Obama. So, you could argue that my vote is a waste no matter what but I will still vote and I am going to vote for a third party.

For us to break the two party system we have to vote third party someday.
