Now that the election is over it appears that the interest in Politics has come to a sharp decline and that the family is no longer participating on the blog.
I would like to continue with discussion and debate on the blog with everyone but this is hard to do if no one participates on the blog. Even though the election is over there are still many important issue that could be discussed and debated. I enjoy making posts and participating but if no one else is going to participate I don't want to waste my time trying to stimulate debate with no one.
Could I get a response as to if there is any interest from everyone to continue in the participation of the this blog even though the hip of the election is over?

Don't get all depressed Nate. Give us time. It's only been a week since the election.
I'm actually glad that it's finally over. Now I can get back to the part of my life that I neglected due to the election and blogging and such.
How about you make a post no more than twice a week or something? Give us a few days to respond before posting again.
I don't forsee me being more involved than that for a bit. I need rest. Sorry.
Nate thanks for being the "keeper" of this blog. I have enjoyed participating - I've learned a lot too. I've never been big on politics or the discussion of, so this has been good for me. I can't post - for the same reasons I can't post on the Family Blog, but I don't mind commenting. I regularly go to CNN.com everyday, plus I listen to Headline News while I'm running around in the car during the day. I feel like I know what's going on at least. Depending on how the rest of the family feels about this blog, I would like to see it stick around. I'm sure things will become interesting as Obama takes over, and of course Sarah Palin isn't fading away....there is always some political drama unfolding...
